Pretty pink

Pretty pink is a heavily textured still-life painting built around floral forms and pink flowers. Impasto and palette-knife marks create a raised, tactile surface, giving the composition a physical quality beyond its colour. The pink-focused palette and floral subject bring softness, while the dense handling adds weight and visual energy. Rather than relying on delicate detail alone, the painting lets the movement of the marks shape the arrangement and define its character. The result is an expressive floral still life with a strong surface presence and a lively colour focus.
