Pretty Bunch

Pretty Bunch explores the soft abundance of a floral arrangement through clustered flowers, buds and painterly colour. The subject is treated with expressive brushwork, while impasto gives the surface a sculptural quality that can be felt as well as seen. The floral forms remain recognisable, but the handling stays painterly, allowing individual marks and layered colour to shape the bouquet. This balance between botanical detail and textured abstraction gives the work a gentle sense of movement. The arrangement feels full and natural without becoming overly formal, with the surface treatment adding depth to its quiet floral character.
