Holiday on yacht

Holiday on yacht is an abstract interpretation of a happy place, built around deep blues, bright sun and clear water. The work uses colour and heavy texture to suggest the atmosphere of a day spent on the water, while the yacht and coastal references give the abstraction a recognisable sense of direction. Thick, expressive handling keeps the surface active, allowing the blue palette to carry both energy and spaciousness. Rather than describing a specific destination, the painting holds onto the feeling of a coastal escape through colour, movement and texture.
