With this painting I wanted to capture the darker , deeper desires we all have . People appear to be all jolly and lovely at the outside like the green lily pads and pink lilies here, but we all have darker , hidden secrets and desire . The darker tones and deeper shades in the painting depicts those deep dark secrets.
